Countdown begins...24 hours!

These past 2 weeks have been an absolute whirlwind in every way you can imagine.  As exhausting and exciting as it has been, I kinda get the feeling we will look back on this week with fondness.  This will have been the week we laid eyes on our chidren, the first time we heard their laughs and looked into their sweet eyes.  This will also be the week we will remember the overwhelming and radical generousity from our family, friends, and even people we don't know.  We have been so, so blessed through this quick process and reminded that people in community is powerful.  Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for every thought, prayer, well wishes, dontations, and gifts. 

Only a GLIMPSE of all the amazing stuff people have been dropping off for our family! 

I need to keep this short because it turns out the old phrase "there aren't enough hours in the day" has never rung so true in our lives as it has this past week.  I did want to quickly share about our visit with the kids yesterday.  It was incredible.  I would say that Tuesday we met our kids for the first time, but Wednesday we fell in love with them.  The visit was at our house, just the five of us for 3 hours and every second of it was sweet.  Our hearts melted.  We played games, explored the house, jumped on the beds (we may regret teaching them that later) and began making lasting memories. 

Today will be a day of last minute shopping, setting up rooms, another visit with the kids, and house projects all in the company of friends and family.  Down to 23 hours and 45 minutes...better go!
